Checklist
Congratulations for being chosen to attend the 2019 National Theater School's Ontario Showcase! As you would imagine, there are a good deal of small tasks to be completed to ensure that we are prepared for your arrival and to help you execute your performance as efficiently as possible.

There are many rooms booked for this event. Some rooms can hold up to 5 students. Contacting the hotel quickly will increase your choices of room size allotments, so don't delay! Initial Release ends April 17th, after which point there may be reduced rooms available.

There will be buses that travel from the Best Western Hotel to BCI throughout the day. Link to: Bus schedule

Rooms range from $115 to $175 each (per night) depending on capacity.

Arrange Festival Registration Payment
The cost of attending the festival is $85 per attending cast and crew member. This does not include any teacher chaperones.

Complete the Hoodie Order Form
Before completing this form, determine the quantities of each size of hoodie that your team desires.
Have your Students Complete the Photo Release Form
Please print and have each of your student team sign the photo release form below. This will allow our team and NTS to use photos taken at the festival for social media and other events.
Have your Students Select their Workshops
First, give your students some time to review the workshop choices. Each student may choose up to two workshops to attend: one on Thursday, and one on Friday.
Second, use the following form to indicate to us which students want to attend which workshops. Download the form, an Excel Spreadsheet, complete it, save it, and then e-mail it as an attachment to ntsprovincials2019@gmail.com.
Please be advised that, due to workshop capacities, choices are not guaranteed and your scheduled workshops will be provided when you arrive at the festival. However, we will try our best to enrol as many students in their desired workshops as possible!
Complete the Registration Form
Before completing this form:

We welcome you and your team to attend every night of the festival. To plan for proper seating arrangements, please determine approximately how many seats you and your team will need each night of the festival.

Will you and your team be arriving at the hotel first, or directly to the school for your tech rehearsal?

Have your letter of permission for your script and music ready (if applicable)
Familiarize yourself with the provided technical Information and Diagrams
Send your Cast and Crew Group Photo for your Poster
Take a picture of your cast and crew at work, and send a copy of that image to

This will help complete a special item included in your team's swag bags!
Create Your To-Scale Floor Plan
Download the floor plan below and print it off. Then, draw a diagram of your set's location and size based on the plan. The measurements do not need to be exact, but try to be as accurate as possible. Alternatively, you may draw the floor plan on using computer design software.

Scan your final floor plan and save it to your computer. You will need to include this file when you complete the technical specfs form below.
Complete the Technical Specifications Form
Before completing this form, complete your to-scale floor plan (from the previous step) and save as a document file
Send your Script and Artistic Statement to the Adjudicator
Before sending your artistic statement, revisit and rewrite your artistic statement that you used for Regionals: you do not need to write an entirely new artistic statement unless you feel the need to recreate it.
